Do I need to install any software?
No — InkyHR is completely cloud-based. You can access it from any web browser or mobile device with an internet connection. There is an optional mobile app available on Android and iOS for even easier access to features like holiday booking and employee self-service.
How much does InkyHR cost?
Pricing starts at £1 per employee per month, with your first 5 employees completely free.
How does seat-based billing work?
You’re billed per active employee each month. If you add someone mid-month, the cost is automatically pro-rated, so you only pay for the remaining days in that billing cycle.
Do I need to enter payment details to use the 5 free employees?
No, you can start using InkyHR with 5 free employees without entering any payment details.
Can employees book their own holidays?
Yes! Employees can request holidays directly through InkyHR, and managers can approve them with a click — or set up automatic approvals using configurable holiday group rules.
Can I store documents and employee assets in InkyHR?
Absolutely. Each employee has a secure profile where you can upload contracts, performance reviews, equipment records, and more. You can also store and manage company-wide documents — such as policies, handbooks, and templates — in the shared document library for easy access by your team.
Is there a mobile app?

Yes — the InkyHR mobile app lets employees book holidays, update details, and stay connected on the go, available on both Android and iOS.
